Scans by time, place, and device. Real numbers you can act on — and nothing invasive.
The whole point of putting a QR code in the world is learning whether it worked. Honopu records every scan and makes the aggregate view easy to read at a glance.
The dashboard shows a 7-day hero stat, a 14-day sparkline, a live scan feed that updates in real time, and drill-down per-link reports with heatmaps and top cities. All real. No sample data.
What we collect

| City / Region / Country | Derived from the scanner's IP. Approximate — city-accurate, not GPS-accurate. |
| Referer | If the scan came via an embedded QR in a digital context (rare), we log where from. |
| UTM params | Any UTM values attached to the scan URL. |
What we don't collect
- Full IP addresses (we hash-and-drop after deriving city-level geo)
- Personal identifiers — we don't know who scanned, just that someone did
- Cross-site tracking cookies
- Behavioral fingerprints for ad networks
- The scanner's other browsing activity, before or after
It's yours.
The live scan feed
The dashboard home shows a live feed of recent scans. It polls every 5 seconds and highlights new entries when they land. Each row tells you, in English:

just nowIf scans are rare, the feed shows "Quiet right now. Your codes are patient." Which is honest — most campaigns spend most of their time waiting.
Exporting
From any analytics page, click Export CSV. You get one row per scan with every field above. Use it to stitch into your warehouse, build custom reports, or verify that we're telling you the truth.
Retention by plan
We keep scan history per plan. Older scans roll off automatically once the window closes. Export what you care about before that, or upgrade if you need longer history.
