For restaurants

One QR per table. Seven menus across the week.

Honopu replaces your static menu QR with a permanent code that knows what time it is. Lunch service routes to lunch. Saturday night routes to the tasting menu. After 9pm routes to the late-night menu. The table tents do not change.

Why restaurants switch to permanent QR codes

Reprinting is expensive. Static codes go stale. Honopu solves the problems specific to restaurants day-to-day operations.

Menus change. Table tents do not.

You added a Tuesday tasting. You retired the kale salad. You raised prices last quarter. Edit the destination, not the table tents.

Review-stage windows are short

A guest scans on the way out. The QR can route to a Google review form right after dinner and to your reservations page during peak hours.

Specials and promotions rotate

Happy hour starts at 4. Brunch ends at 2. The same printed code routes to the right offer at the right time, without server training or new posters.

Workflows built for restaurants

The same printed code can route to different destinations based on the day, location, or campaign you are running. Set it once, change it whenever you need.

Table tent or sticker

Show the right menu for the current service

Configure routing rules by day of week and time of day. Lunch, dinner, late-night, brunch, happy hour, all from the same printed surface.

Receipt and check holder

Capture a Google review at the right moment

Route the receipt QR to your review collection flow only after the meal is complete. Higher conversion than a generic review link.

Window decal and sidewalk sign

Drive walk-in scans to your live offer

Happy hour menu in the afternoon. Dinner reservations link in the evening. Brunch booking on the weekend. One decal, three campaigns.

Promotional flyer or coupon card

Rotate the offer without reprinting the flyer

Run a 25% off pasta night this month, switch to a wine pairing event next month. The printed flyer stays in the host stand and routes to the live promo.

What restaurants typically save by switching from static to permanent QR codes

Menu reprints
Down ~90%

Update prices, retire dishes, and add specials in your dashboard instead of reprinting laminated cards every quarter.

Review collection rate
Higher and timed

Route to reviews only at the moment guests are most likely to leave one. Avoid early scans that hit the menu instead.

Promo agility
Same day

Push a flash special at 3pm and the table-tent QR drives to it by happy hour.

Frequently asked questions

Can the QR show different menus by day of week or time?

Yes. Configure schedule-based routing rules so the same printed code shows lunch from 11 to 3, dinner from 5 to 10, and happy hour in between.

What happens during a power outage or wifi issue at the restaurant?

Honopu routing happens on our servers, not yours. As long as the guest device has cell service, the code resolves correctly even if your in-restaurant wifi is down.

Can I run an A/B test on which menu format gets more orders?

Yes. Split scans 50/50 between two menu pages and compare engagement. Promote the winner without reprinting the table tents.

Will this work with my online ordering or reservation platform?

Honopu routes to any URL, including Toast, Resy, OpenTable, Square, your own ordering page, or a third-party menu host.

How is this different from a free QR menu generator?

Free generators bake the menu URL into the printed code. The moment your menu URL changes, your table tents stop working. Honopu routes through our system so the destination stays editable for the life of your restaurant.

Print the menu QR once. Update everything else.

Permanent QR codes for menus, specials, reservations, and reviews. Configure once, change anytime, never reprint table tents because the soup of the day changed.
